has been a part of your life, growing with you and your
family. Notwithstanding the current economic hardships,
high unemployment and the impact of SARS, VITASOY remains
Hong Kong's close friend and companion. As such, we
feel deeply the need to strengthen the sense of solidarity
within the Hong Kong community and to care for and support
everyone.
The idea behind the latest VITASOY TV commercial
is to single out the message of "Born and Raised
in Hong Kong" that signifies the close bond between
VITASOY and the people of Hong Kong. The slogan - "Dedicated
to make you feel happy" - corroborates VITASOY's
healthy and caring image and the TV commercial as a
whole is designed to bring a happy mood to everyone
in Hong Kong.
By putting a VITASOY "fun pack"
in locations such as parks, supermarkets, bakeries,
taxi stands and beverage vending machines, we intend
to capture the most genuine and natural moments of happiness
enjoyed by Hong Kong people. All the footages taped
by us are real. All the locations are familiar to us.
The characters are not actors but real pedestrians and
their reactions are nothing but spontaneous. When a
pedestrian picks up a VITASOY "fun pack",
he or she will hear an unexpected sound effect, which
could be laughter, the noise of making wind, a quack,
a scream, a song of a foreign language, or any out-of-this-world
sounds beyond their imagination.
There is not a plot per se for the making
of the TV commercial. All the locations, characters,
reactions and smiles are genuine and unrehearsed. Everything
to be taped is genuine and natural, which imparts the
message that the bond between Hong Kong people and VITASOY
is one of genuineness and happiness. The TV commercial
closes with the slogan "VITASOY - Dedicated to
make you feel happy" that conveys the mood of happiness
captured on camera to everyone watching TV.
VITASOY's new TV commercial is original
in terms of both conceptualization and production, and
is very different from those with made-up scenes and
characters. It is entirely genuine, direct and spontaneous
in every sense and aspect. After all, VITASOY is a part
of Hong Kong people's everyday life. VITASOY stays close
to you and cares for you.
