Vitasoy Fully Supports Oxfam Trailwalker

Vitasoy International Holdings Limited is the exclusive official drinks sponsor for the coming Oxfam Trailwalker through its VITA Pure Distilled Water.

The Oxfam Trailwalker is one of the largest fundraising sports walkathon in Hong Kong. It will be held from November 5 to 7, 2004 and the participants will help raise fund to support Oxfam's various poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects in Africa and Asia, including Hong Kong and mainland China.

Participants in the event have to form teams of four to complete the 100km MacLehose Trail within a 48-hour time limit. It is hoped that, by helping each other throughout the event, the participants will better understand the need to take care of and depend on others. Vitasoy will supply the walkers, working personnel and volunteers with VITA Pure Distilled Water at the Start Point, Finish Point and each of the nine checkpoints along the MacLehose Trail.

In addition to sponsoring the drinks, two Vitasoy teams will participate in the Oxfam Trailwalker and help raise funds for the needy.
