Regarding the incident of a group of employees gathered outside our Tuen Mun headquarters today, Vitasoy would like to make the following statement.

We have maintained close communications with our staff in an open and sincere manner. We have exchanged views in a meeting facilitated by the Labour Department this afternoon under a cordial atmosphere.

The management and the staff have reached certain level of understanding and consensus on four of the five requests including pay adjustment, commission, working hours and establishment of communication channels between management and frontline employees. Both parties have not yet reached a mutual agreement on the reinstatement of the dismissed staff which needs to be further discussed.

We will continue to communicate with the staff in an open and proactive manner, in the hope of reaching satisfactory results beneficial to both parties as soon as possible and to minimize the impact on customers and consumers.
