Vitasoy promotes a nutritional exploration journey to nourish students’ bodies and minds and give back to the community

Reducing carbon emissions and eating healthy has set off a trend towards plant-based eating. In Hong Kong, Vitasoy International Holdings Limited (“Vitasoy”) has always been committed to providing consumers with delicious, sustainable and plant-based nutritional food and beverages, and in Hong Kong, Vitasoy has taken the physical and mental health of children and adolescents as the goal of community service and actively cared for the society.

Plant-based milk can provide nutrients to the body, and the production process brings benefits to the environment. Vitasoy has always been committed to promoting the physical and mental health of school children, giving back to the society through participating in community activities, and cultivating a sustainable green lifestyle. Nutrition projects help grassroots students learn in a variety of ways

As early as 2015, Vitasoy collaborated with St. James’ Settlement’s “Education for Changing the Future Service” to organise the “Nutrition Exploration Tour”, and since 2017, with the support of the Social Welfare Department, it has been working together to provide diversified learning opportunities for grassroots primary and secondary school students to cultivate the importance of healthy eating habits. Kwan Wai-yu, Senior Service Manager (Poverty Alleviation Services) of St. James’ Settlement, said, “Grassroots families often neglect healthy eating because they save on living expenses. In view of this, St. James’ Settlement has been working closely with Vitasoy for many years to promote the importance of food nutrition through various programmes, so that children can develop healthily and physically.” The programme has served about 2,300 people so far.
